HRH Prince Willem Alexander visits UNESCO-IHE
On the 16th of June, His Royal Highness Prince Willem Alexander visited the Institute for three information exchange and discussion sessions.
Topics discussed were ‘Sustainable sanitation and the development agenda’, ‘Urban water management research in the SWITCH project’ and ‘Flooding and Coastal protection in the context of climate change’.
Several staff and participants directly involved with these subjects had the opportunity to meet the Prince and present their work, and informally discuss topical current events.
