Associated partners
The IMHI associated partners consists of educational, research & consultancy, and software development institutions that offer crucial support to the programme, even though they are not primarily responsible for development and implementation of large educational components of IMHI.
The support of the associated partners to IMHI is primarily in formulating and setting-up of the hydroinformatics research agenda, and in hosting and financing MSc and PhD hydroinformatics research. Their main contributions are as follows:

Advice on the IMHI syllabus

Provision of invited lectures in the regular IMHI Programme

Provision of relevant case studies for educational purposes

Support and provision of data needed for research activities

Formulation and financing of MSc research topics

Hosting the MSc researchers for a given period of time

Initiation of research projects which can be done jointly with IMHI partners, including PhD research

The support of these associated partners primarily enables IMHI to offer a large variety of options for Block 4 – the MSc thesis research.
A number of participants will be able to carry out their MSc research on a variety of topics and at different locations in Europe or in China. The associated partners will cover the additional costs associated by these options.
