IMHI Core Partners

IMHI Core Partners

Core partners of IMHI are renowned organisations involved in higher education, which are committed to building and maintaining a partnership for hydroinformatics post-graduate education and research.

These organisations have the following primary contributions to IMHI:

  • Development of curricula

  • Providing education for blocks or modules of IMHI

  • Joint programme implementation and management of IMHI

  • Hosting research

  • Selection of participants

  • Offering preparatory courses to participants

At present IMHI includes two main core partners:

  • UNESCO-IHE, Delft, The Netherlands, and

  • Hohai University, Nanjing, China

The establishment of IMHI and the first implementation (in the year 2005-2006) will be carried out in partnership of these two organisations.

Currently, there are ongoing negotiations with a third IMHI core partner, the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) from Roorkee, India. It is expected that IMHI will also be implemented with this core partner as from the academic year 2006-2007.
