During the 6th World Water Forum week we had the opportunity and pleasure to contact many UNESCO-IHE alumni who were participating in the event. UNESCO-IHE organized two Alumni gatherings.
The first one took place at the Netherlands pavilion. Fifteen alumni were present and it was a great opportunity to strengthen synergies between them, the Dutch water sector and UNESCO-IHE, as well as to remember old times whilst drinking Heineken.
The second gathering, at the UNESCO-IHE stand, was opened by the speech of UNESCO-IHE’s Rector, Professor András Szöllösi-Nagy. This was followed by the words of several alumni. More than 30 alumni were present, as well as UNESCO-IHE staff members. It was a great time to meet, greet, update, and create new relationships. We would like to thank to all alumni for their warm and active participation.
