Discussing Nile and Yangtze through videoconference
From 3 till 8 September the Cross-basin Refresher Seminar (Nile, Yangtze and other Asian river basins) is being held in Cairo and Nanjing.
It is a cooperation between UNESCO-IHE and several key partners (HRI Cairo, and NHRI in Nanjing, Hohai University Nanjing and Capnet), with over 40 participants.
The seminar is coordinated by UNESCO-IHE and moderated locally in Egypt and China.
Through a series of ten videoconference sessions the two locations share knowledge and experiences from their respective river basins (Nile, Yangtze and other Asian basins), with expert input from UNESCO-IHE in Delft and from Capnet in Pretoria, South Africa.
