Ferdi Battes BSc

Laboratory Research Analyst


Ferdi Battes works as a research analyst at the UNESCO-IHE laboratory. His work involves assisting participants with their MSc research. He received his bachelors degree in applied chemistry (analytical) at Leiden college (Hogeschool Leiden). His research was on analyzing binder material in paint combining several different chromatography techniques at Akzo Nobel.

After college Ferdi worked for a year at DSM at a research and development department testing and improving enzymes and yeasts.

After the project was cancelled he came to work for UNESCO-IHE, and since then (2008) he has been working at UNESCO-IHE.
