ACADEMIC BACKGROUND
MSc Degree in Hydroinformatics – April 1998
Post graduate course at the International Institute for Infrastructural, Hydraulic and Environmental Engineering (IHE) in Delft, The Netherlands. Research topic was "The Use of Internet Technologies for Hydroinformatics", supervised by Dr. D. P. Solomatine and Prof. R.K. Price. The results form the MSc thesis were published at the "Hydroinformatics ’98" - 3rd International conference on hydroinformatics in Copenhagen, Denmark.

MPh Degree in Civil Engineering – 1997
Postgraduate programme at the "St. Ciril & Methody" University in Skopje, Macedonia in the period of 1994/1996. The research resulted in a Master of Philosophy thesis in the field of advanced numerical modelling entitled as "Distributed Hydrological Modelling and GIS", sponsored by the National Water Board of Republic of Macedonia and supervised by Prof. Dr. Z. Skoklevski. Several national and international papers and a number of presentations were prepared from the research. The developed water-related GIS is used as the framework for the national Watershed Information System.

BSc Degree in Civil Engineering - 1993
Faculty of Civil Engineering at the "St. Ciril & Methody" University in Skopje, Macedonia. The topic of the BSc research was "Development of 1D Hydrodynamic and Morphological Simulation Model". This research resulted in a standard simulation 1D hydraulic modelling software.

PRESENT OCCUPATION
Lecturer in hydroinformatics and PhD researcher at IHE Delft. The main direction of the research includes development and applications of the new emerging techniques based on the theory of non-linear dynamics and deterministic chaos to data-driven modelling in water resources. This research utilises the advances in machine learning, chaos theory, data mining, knowledge engineering, Internet technologies, distributed artificial intelligence and support vector machines. Currently involved in several research projects in the framework of the Delft Cluster as a member of the Knowledge Management theme group.
