Tineke Hooijmans

Senior Lecturer in Sanitary Engineering



Resume

Tineke Hooijmans is a senior lecturer in environmental process technology, environmental modelling and in modelling of (activated sludge) wastewater treatment systems. She has an MSc in Environmental and Sanitary Science from the Agricultural University Wageningen, and a PhD in Bioprocess Technology from the Technical University Delft. She has been working at IHE since 1991, involved in education in several Master Programmes (Municipal Water and Infrastructure, Environmental Science). She is also involved in the supervision of several PhD students in the field of nutrient removal and waste water treatment systems modelling. Currently she is project manager of a Partners for Water project in Mexico, and involved in a capacity building program in the Western Balkan countries.
