Jeltsje Kemerink

Jeltsje Kemerink joined UNESCO-IHE in February 2005. Together with her fellow Project Officers, she provides assistance and advice to academic staff in project acquisition, formulation and implementation. She facilitates clients requesting for services and liaises with partner institutes and donors interested in cooperating with UNESCO-IHE.

Jeltsje is currently involved in a capacity building project on water resources and environmental management in Rwanda and knowledge network projects in the Nile Basin (NBCBN-RE) and Southern Africa (WaterNet).

Since early 2007, Jeltsje joined on a part-time basis the Management and Institution Department of UNESCO-IHE to do research on integrated water resources management in Southern Africa.

Jeltsje holds a MSc degree in River Engineering obtained at the Delft University of Technology in 2004.
