Mariska Ronteltap has a Masters' degree in Environmental Engineering from the University of Wageningen, the Netherlands and is about to finish her PhD from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich and the Swiss Federal Institute of Aquatic Science and Technology, Switzerland.
She has a background in consultancy work for industrial wastewater treatment plants. Mariska is a lecturer in Water Supply and Sanitary Engineering at the UNESCO-IHE Institute for Water Education.
In the field of Water Supply at UNESCO-IHE, she focuses on the characteristics of Natural Organic Matter in water treatment for drinking water production. In the area of Sanitary Engineering, she applies and expands her expertise in urine separation/ ecosan.
