Resume

Nemanja Trifunovic (MSc in Civil Engineering) is Senior Lecturer in Water Distribution working for UNESCO-IHE Institute for Water Education since 1990. Mr. Trifunovic is specialist in the field of Water Transport and Distribution in general and in application of computer models in urban distribution networks in particular.

Besides that his lecturing includes topics on Applied Hydraulics and Process Unit Operations in Sanitary Engineering.

Apart from the lecturing assignments, Mr. Trifunovic has been involved in guiding of MSc research as well as organising various forms of training in his field. In period 1995-1998 and 2001-2003 he was the Programme Coordinator of The Sanitary Engineering Course at UNESCO-IHE.

Short-term missions he conducted for UNESCO-IHE include participation in various capacity building projects and short-courses in Yemen, Iran, Palestine, South Korea, Taiwan, etc.

In period 1999-2001, Mr.Trifunovic was the resident project advisor of the Water Supply and Environmental Sanitation Project at The University of Science and Technology in Kumasi-Ghana. He is presently the director of this project.
