Vera Schouten - Sutter

In July 1992 Vera Schouten started to work at IHE as an administrative employee - most of her time she spent on typing lecture notes in Word Perfect 5.1.

After 4 years she became co-ordinator of lecture notes and all other material related to short courses in the institute (to scan and digitalise most of the lecture notes via a special computer programme [Digipath] of Xerox).

After about 3 years she became a secretary of the former called SEE department on a temporary basis for 6 months. In 2001 she left IHE and accepted a job as management assistant at a company affiliated with TNO. In December 2001 she returned to IHE and until now she is secretary of the Environmental Resources department. She is doing her utmost to be the so-called spider-in-the-web figure and she really enjoys working in this team of staff members.
