The 13,000 IHE alumni can be a tremendous asset to us as Akvopedia editors and contributors.

Akvo’s internet-based tools and working practices help water and sanitation development partners expand their project activities while reducing costs and simplifying reporting.
According to Akvo’s Swedish founder Thomas Bjelkeman, the opportunities for UNESCO-IHE to get involved are significant. “There are around 13,000 ‘IHE alumni. These people are spread around the world and can be a tremendous asset to us as Akvopedia editors and contributors.”
Akvo is also addressing the opportunity to match funds to small-scale projects online, what can be an opportunity for UNESCO-IHE alumni, who may be involved with specifying projects that need funding.
