In an effort to better understand the relevance and impact of the education offered by the UNESCO-IHE Institute for Water Education, an alumni tracer survey was conducted in 2011.

This workshop is for UNESCO-IHE and Wageningen University alumni working in the Mekong Delta (Vietnam), Ganges -Brahmaputra Delta (Bangladesh) and the Ciliwung Delta (Indonesia).

The 8th conference on Coastal Engineering and Port Development in Developing Countries was held in Chennai, India, from 19 -24 February 2012. With more than 250 participants and about the same number of presented papers the conference was a big success.
