Resume
Maarten Blokland has worked in the water supply and sanitation sector since 1975, and worked in more than 25 developing and newly industrialized countries.
He worked 5 years with a water utility and 4 years with a consulting engineering firm prior to joining IHE in 1984.
Maarten Blokland was Deputy Director of UNESCO-IHE in the period from 2003 till 2007. In 2002-2003 he was Acting Director of IHE and Vice-Rector (Education).
